SUMMARY
The Wichita Mountains Prevention Network (WMPN), a dynamic nonprofit organization that champions proactive and innovative substance abuse prevention programs, is seeking a Community Based Prevention Services (CBPS) Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, goal-oriented, team player who desires to positively impact their community through concrete change.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The CBPS Coordinator will work with our Comanche County team on underage drinking prevention initiatives. You will be involved in a variety of projects, such as media campaigns, community outreach, facilitating meetings, and coalition recruitment, as well as be responsible for regular reporting and some administrative duties. To succeed in this role, you will need exemplary communication skills, the ability to multitask, and comfort working with various populations and cultures. WMPN provides ample opportunities for on-the-job training & professional development, so a desire for learning and self-improvement is key. This position is grant-funded through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) and will be based in the Lawton office.
