Personal Care Attendants are responsible for light cleaning, cooking, running errands, and doing laundry, as well as assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks. They also engage clients in activities like reading, talking, and playing games.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to meet the physical and mental demands required to perform specific tasks
- Agree to maintain confidentiality
- Be emotionally dependable and mature
- Be able to handle emergency situations
- Can’t be the consumers’ spouse
- Must be registered w/ and have a clear background screening through the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) or have been granted a Good Cause Waiver by DHSS which is still in good standing
- Not listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL) which is maintained by the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 9 per week
