Job Details Job Location Hillside - Duluth, MN Position Type Full Time Salary Range $16.70 - $16.70 Hourly Description Job Summary: Deli Cooks prepare ingredients, cook, package, accurately price and display Deli products in compliance with food safety policies and practices. They support Deli operations by cleaning, organizing and sanitizing equipment and surfaces and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide services offered in the Deli area and respond promptly and politely to customer requests for assistance.
Process ingredients, rotate, store, and display designated products in accordance with established practices, priorities, and recipes.
Follow recipes to measure, process, cook, bake, and assemble ingredients according to department standards.
Provide ongoing feedback to department management on safety and staff performance.
Perform tasks at a pace that is consistent with department standards.
Monitor food quality, record losses, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies throughout preparation, storage and display.
Wash, sanitize and store cookware, utensils and containers in accordance with established practices and priorities. Maintain work stations and ensure cleanliness of department equipment, storage areas and display areas.
Achieve WFC customer service standards for internal and external customers.
Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment to support WFC's ENDS.

Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to Minnesota Department of Agriculture and National Organic Standards.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve daily operational goals as directed by your supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness of department areas and equipment and communicate and document any equipment maintenance and/or safety concerns to department management.
Report any problems with systems, tools and/or products to department supervisors.
Perform other tasks as assigned by department management.
Assist customers in finding product and/or information, promptly and courteously answer and accurately route phone calls, messages, and customer requests in compliance with established practices.
As directed, move into back stock, rotate, stage, stock and/or merchandise products in accordance with shift criteria.
Promote ownership and owner benefits consistently and positively.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with commercial food preparation including food safety, knife skills and cooking equipment
Current ServSafe certification
Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays
Customer service experience
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
18 years of age or older
Basic computer literacy including familiarity with using a web browser and email
Ability to operate effectively within established systems and procedures
Outstanding customer service skills
Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple demands, work under time pressures and meet department work objectives
Ability to handle confidential information
Willingness to learn and perform all aspects of the position
Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions

Essential Physical Requirements:
Ability to occasionally move up to 50 lbs. throughout shift
Ability to repetitively move objects up to 15 lbs. throughout shift
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Ability to move around the premises throughout shift
Ability to operate position-required machinery
Ability to do repetitive office tasks including, but not limited to, filing, using a computer keyboard, understanding information from a computer screen/LCD monitor and written materials for the entirety of shift
Ability to safely use sharp cutting instruments
