Whole Dental Wellness is Hiring a Treatment Coordinator Near Eastpointe, MI

Lakeshore Dental Specialists x TDR is a patient-centered dental office providing patients of all ages optimal care.

It is imperative that the Dental Assistant uses critical thinking, empathy, listening, communication, and education to all of our patients. We are a community, you will work with unique individuals who are willing to help each other and are driven to provide excellent care to all patients.

Job Summary: Responsible for educating new patients regarding available treatment options, working out financial
arrangements, and cultivating strong relationships. We are currently building our ortho division so open to either hiring part-time working solely with ortho or full-time for the right fit candidate who would like to work with our other specialists (periodontists, endodontists) as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present orthodontic treatment plans, educate the patient on the plan of treatment and overcome objections
  • Understand the practice's policy on working with financials to educate patients on their payment
    options
  • Work pending reports and follow up with potential patients to schedule treatment
  • Preparation for patient exams
  • Follow up with patients to set up consultations or begin treatment and keep schedules full
  • Coordinate patients referred to specialists for care prior to treatment as necessary
  • Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in sales or other service industry required
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required

A Day in the Life of a Dental Assistant at Lakeshore Dental Specialists:

On any given day you can expect to encounter the following:

  • Arriving 15-30 minutes before start time to be ready to go.
  • Working with a driven team of other fun loving, compassionate, highly skilled professionals.
  • Managing the care of patients who are driven to care for their oral health
  • We have specialist endodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons at our office so you would grow yourself - and your resume - tremendously and be able to work with several of our docs!
  • Working in an office that is family oriented.
  • Treating every patient like they are your friend and/or family
  • Excitedly seeing a high volume of patients everyday and working with more than one doctor. 
  • Create a comfortable and welcoming clinical environment for new and returning patients
  • Performing procedures using the latest technology (including a digital workflow).
  • Helping our docs educate and align patient needs with patient wants resulting in appropriate treatment acceptance
  • Consistently supporting Doctor-led treatment recommendations for patients
  • Helping our hygiene team out with x-rays, periodontal charting, really anything they need! We function as one team. That means jumping in anywhere that could use a helping hand! 
  • Completing opening and closing duties as team

Office Hours

  • Monday: 8 am - 6 pm
  • Tuesday: 8 am - 6 pm
  • Wednesday: 8 am - 5 pm
  • Thursday: 8 am - 6 pm
  • Friday: 8 am - 2 pm
  • Two Saturday's per month: 8 am - 2 pm
