Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
While demonstrating excellent customer service, the Podiatrist at Whitney Young Health provides specialized care in examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of foot disorders, both medically and surgically. This role ensures optimum safe environment and ensures compliance with local, state and federal requirements (i.e. OSHA, JCAHO, NYSDOH) within the Podiatry office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Pre-science degree, college level; successful completion of a four-year course from an accredited college of podiatric medicine; certification from either a national or state examining board for podiatric medicine; demonstrated excellent customer service, good communication and interpersonal skills; knowledge of managed care requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Electively, one to three year residency program for specialized surgical training; one to three years clinical experience; board certification in Podiatric Surgery.

Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually
