Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is Hiring a Construction inspector Near Baltimore, MD

We are looking for Construction Inspectors of all levels to join our growing team in Maryland... We are constantly winning new contracts and are looking for new inspectors to staff these projects.

Requirements :

  • 1-10 years of experience, in the specified areas listed below.
  • HS diploma or equivalency certificate. AA Construction Management or apprenticeship training in Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing preferred.
  • Applicants must have demonstrated inspection experience in one or more of the following Water & Wastewater categories :
  • Utilities including but not limited to pipeline installation, replacement, and rehabilitation.
  • Pumping Stations including new construction and or rehabilitation.
  • Treatment Plants including upgrades or rehabilitation and new construction for facility expansions.

Specific experience with regional Public Works and Utility agencies preferred. CM14 and or Unifier experience desirable.

Additional Training or Certifications :

Sediment & erosion control certifications (e.g. MDE RPC / SHA Yellow Card) Certification in Temporary Traffic Control (e.

g. Maryland SHA TTCMC). OSHA safety training. MARTCP, NICET, WACEL or NASSCO certifications desirable including NASSCO- ITCP / CIPP / MR for sanitary sewer pipeline and manhole repairs / rehabilitation.

Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned construction sites. Other skill sets include good communication skills;

the ability to read / interpret plans and specifications; writing and drawing skills necessary to complete inspection reports.

In addition, basic computer skills are required for completing electronic inspection reports including familiarity with software for project document control.
