  • Collaborate with the Director for Fellowships & Grants to support programs and advising for students and alumni pursuing nationally competitive merit-based opportunities and programs.
  • Develop an operations strategy for CCEC support of students pursuing graduate school and engage prospective graduate programs.
  • Generate a clear communications plan to engage and manage relationships with graduate programs.
  • Support holistic integration of the CCEC by communicating priorities between the Fellowships & Grants and Career Development teams.
  • Assist in collection, tabulation, and analysis of outcomes information for key stakeholders.
  • Represent and promote the CCEC to a variety of constituents such as Whitman parents, alumni and prospective students, as needed.
  • Utilize effective and current technology and communication outlets in all facets of work.
  • Complete other duties assigned, as needed, to support the goals of the Center.

  • Experience pursuing or receiving fellowship or grant.
  • Familiarity with employment trends across a range of directions pursued by alumni of fellowship and grant programs.
  • Interpersonal skills that build rapport across diverse audiences.
  • Comfort with technology platforms and drawing from them to inform decisions.
  • Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
