Sewing Machine Operator (Full-Time)

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate sewing machines and related parts, including pattern plates, needles, presser feet, automatic cutting tools and blades
• Follow supervisor direction while displaying cooperative and positive behavior with co-workers
• Construct assigned items/item components properly, following a combination of printed work instructions, integral samples, and verbal instructions from the supervisor
• Maintain quality objectives and standards for the department
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Keep workplace clean, tidy, and in good condition
• Return all tools and equipment to their designated spot after each use
• Other duties as directed

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old to work with industrial machines
• Able to sit/stand for 2 hours at a time
• Good physical (hand/eye) coordination

Preferred:

• Experience with Single Needle Walking Foot Brothers and/or Jukis is a huge plus
• Proficiency with sewing machines

Job Details:

• Location: Eugene, OR. (Off of West 11th)
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 7AM to 3:30PM
• Pay: starting at $17/hour, can increase based on experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time applicants will be considered based on experience and availability.
