What We Need: We are looking for a PR Specialist on a freelance basis to help increase awareness of Mend.io as a thought leader within key audience groups and raise share of voice in the application security sector. You would be responsible for:

• Thought leadership article placement in target publications
• Write and submit press releases and serve as media point of contact; follow up with media contacts
• Persuasively pitch media and earn high-profile coverage for Mend.io

Location: East Coast US (Remote)

**Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We anticipate 15-20 hours weekly for this opportunity**

Requirements:

• Tech-sector PR experience in developer tools or security-application security is a bonus
• Ability to build relationship with the relevant publications
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to be flexible and precise under deadlines
