Whiteside and Goldberg is Hiring a Paralegal - Personal Injury Near Chicago, IL

Essential Job Functions:

  • Drafting routine correspondence and maintain established contact with clients, medical providers, and attorney's offices.
  • Ordering medical records and bills
  • Preparation and submission of settlement packages.
  • Assisting with written discovery
  • Assisting with trial preparation
  • Ensure and maintain case reviews as outline in the manual.
  • Preparation and submission of medical payments.
  • Ensure and maintain initial and follow up contact with the clients.
  • Effective Communication and great customer service skills

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one to two years of Personal Injury petitioner experience;
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, attorneys and staff;
  • Self-starter with the ability to enforce a positive and professional image;
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems;
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities;

· Well-organized, efficient, detail oriented and hard-working;

· Ability to effectively multi-task;

· Strong verbal and written communication;

· Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills;

· Extremely reliable;

· Typing 60 wpm is preferred;

· Editing/proofreading;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
