A respected medical group is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team in the Hudson Valley, NY area. This person will be working full on-site in the Accounting & Finance department directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Function:

• Processing bi-weekly payroll using Paycor.
• Maintain all related payroll earnings and deductions codes and other information to ensure accurate compensation reporting.
• Assist in calculating compensation adjustments as needed.
• Ensure timekeeping records are complete and accurate by working with Practice Managers.
• Update employee record change requests, including deductions, garnishments, direct deposit, tax withholdings, etc.
• Provide customer service for employee questions and concerns about payroll.
• Ensure shareholder compensation benefits are updated.
• Prepare year-end W-2 reporting.
• Perform administrative and processing activities for the company's 401K and pension plans, including plan enrollment, maintenance, and disbursements.
• Conduct research for participant questions and concerns.
• Transmit benefit contributions to third parties.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years experience in payroll required.
• Accounting and Accounts Payable experience is needed.
• Experience with HR and Payroll Software specifically paycor is a plus.
