The White River Unified District (WRUD), located in the beautiful and picturesque White River Valley of Vermont, is a member district of the White River Valley Supervisory Union (https://wrvsu.org). Nestled in the White River Valley, our campuses are approximately 30 minutes from Killington/Pico Ski Resort and are also in close proximity to the Saskadeena Six ski area. The White River flows through our district making canoeing and kayaking very convenient after work or on the weekends. Hiking trails are plentiful.

Our campus in South Royalton hosts our prek-5 elementary and high school.We are currently anticipating an opening for a School/Home Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year on our Royalton Campus.This position requires someone with the ability to be flexible, make data informed decisions, and collaborate to meet the needs of students in a PreK-12 setting.Job Responsibilities: Coordinates wrap-around services for intensive social/emotional studentCoordinates Therapeutic Interventions PreK-12 including referrals to outside agenciesServes as a resource for DCF reporting including and supports student cases by attending team meetings and supporting in courtAssists with truancy concerns to include calls, letters home, home visits, conducting CSPs, creating plans, writing truancy petitionsServes as a member of the Targeted/Intensive Social/Emotional Support Team Supports student support team with responding to students in crisis Consults at the universal level around social/emotional supports Serves as a resource to school teams around complex students/families that school servesDesignated person to support students/families with basic need deficits: food, clothing, housing, transportation, etc.Provide support to students/families in courtWhite River Valley Unified District is committed to building a community of engaged learners.
