Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and networks.
Duties:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in person
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new computers, printers, and mobile devices
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system backups
- Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices
- Document and track IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system
- Assist with network administration tasks, including user account management and security measures
- Respond to user inquiries in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience providing IT support in a professional environment
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
