Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project scope and requirements
- Negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids
- Develop detailed proposals and contracts for clients
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures throughout the construction process
- Utilize Construction Management and Project Management principles to streamline estimating processes
Experience:
- Proven experience in Construction Estimating, preferably in the [build] industry
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid
- Strong negotiation skills for pricing and contract agreements
- Knowledge of Cost Control techniques in construction projects
- Understanding of Construction Management and Project Management principles
