White Pine Pet Care is Hiring a Kennel Attendant Near Duluth, MN
White Pine Pet Care Inc. seeks a Kennel Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting in the general care and upkeep of dogs, including feeding, cleaning and keeping a safe calm environment for the pets in our care. This is an entry-level position with no experience necessary, but willing to learn and have an avid love for animals.
This position is a seasonal summertime position, with the potential for a regular employment offer.
Responsibilities:
- Exercise dogs in the yard and park
- Supervise play and identify potential behavioral issues
- Maintain a clean environment in the yards and kennels
- Clean up any accidents as they occur
- Prep meals and store food safely and securely
- Communicate effectively any issues with Shift Lead
- Be able to lift 30 pounds
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
