White Oak of Spartanburg located on 295 E. Pearl Street in Spartanburg is seeking a full time salaried RN Staff Development Coordinator. We are a small 60-bed long-term care and rehabilitation facility. The perfect facility size to make a huge difference! This position is part of the Leadership Team and is responsible for providing training and education for staff, residents and family members of the facility. Position is Monday - Friday. Essential Functions:

Supervises and participates in orientation for all personnel. Assists Director of Nursing in planning yearly in-service programs for nursing staff and helps in recruitment of new personnel. Schedules and implements mandatory in-services for all departments, acts as liaison to other department heads in developing in-service programs. Develops instructional materials utilizing facility policies and procedures. Alternates nursing on-call responsibilities with other RN’s as assigned.

Education:

Must be a graduate of a state approved school of nursing, with a current and active RN license in South Carolina.
