Job Duties:

  • Ensuring the delivery of resident-focused care including but not limited to assisting with personal hygiene, physical comfort, nutrition, elimination, prevention of skin breakdown, rehabilitation and safety.
  • Assisting in health care activities, observing and reporting any changes to resident's health condition to the nursing staff.
  • Documenting and maintaining records of care provided and contributing to the formulation, implementation, and update of individualized resident care plans.
  • Participating in resident assessment and reassessment by providing data to licensed staff.
  • Assisting with nursing procedures as appropriate to training and in compliance with nursing policies and procedures.
  • Helping residents with mobility needs and cognitive impairments and responding to their emotional and social needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for working with the elderly.
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • TB Test
  • Ability to undergo a background check
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and remain patient and empathetic.
  • Availability to work various hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in long term care, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
