Job Summary :

White Label Extracts is hiring for a full time, day time Packaging Specialist. The Packaging Specialist is responsible for packaging plant extracts.

In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labeling, and inventory is crucial. The Packaging Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of cannabis products.

The schedule is Mon. - Thurs. 7 : 15 a.m. - 5 : 45 p.m.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Package extract material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Exhibit competency in basic organizational and communication skills.
  • Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality products.
  • Sanitize & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day.
  • Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
  • Fill and package products for delivery.
  • Record data.
  • Comfortability working in a temperature controlled environment between 61-63 degrees.
  • Expected to work in a lab environment. All employees are expected to wear a company provided smock, beard net for facial hair (if applicable), hair must be tied back tightly or permitted to wear a hat.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Permits and Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • OLCC Marijuana Handlers Permit
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers
  • Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-10 hour work periods without losing quality.
  • Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
  • Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to work seated in a temperature controlled workspace (cooler) for long periods of time.
  • Close visual focus required.
  • This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
