We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounting Clerk, with an eye for detail and accuracy, to join our team. This position is entry to mid-level with room for growth and learning.

Essential Functions:

· Meet reporting deadlines and support month- and year-end close processes,

· Assist with preparation of monthly general ledger account reconciliations.

Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP standards

· Assist with the data entry of payable invoices.

· Assist with reconciling sensitive customer and vendor credit card and bank transactions.

· Maintain fixed asset ledger.

· Assist with job costing entries and reconciliations.

· Processing of bank deposits, retrieval and processing of incoming mail.

· Assist with accounting related special projects.

· Prepare documentation for external auditors

· Perform general office and compliance duties including copying, scanning documents, filing, faxing, and mailing.

Perform other duties as directed.

· Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.

· Basic knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and terminology.

· Aptitude for mathematical financial concepts.

· Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.

· Ability to work business partners, and customers in a friendly and positive manner.

· Ability to visualize, articulate, and help solve complex problems and concepts, and recommend courses of action/make decisions based on available information.

· Ability to actively ask questions, seek clarity, and use judgment and discretion when applicable

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Experience with enterprise accounting applications - QuickBooks experience preferred..

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 5 years office/bookkeeping/accounting experience.
