Pay: $16 - $19 / hour

Job Description:

As a dishwasher at Whiskey Joe's Manatee River, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensuring all dishes and kitchen tools are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Sorting and organizing clean dishes and utensils for efficient distribution to kitchen staff.
• Assisting with general kitchen duties such as food preparation, cleaning, and organization as needed.
• Adhering to all sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Difficult work including lift and carry up to up to 50 lbs up to 20 times per shift.
