Tillie's Restaurant - Expo Position

Camp Lucy, a premier Texas Wine Country Resort, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Expo to join our Tillie's Restaurant team. As the orchestrator of communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each plate is executed with precision and delivered promptly to create outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary communication link between the culinary and service teams, anticipating challenges and addressing them proactively.
• Relay detailed information about special requests, dietary restrictions, and menu modifications to kitchen staff.
• Conduct thorough inspections of each dish for presentation quality, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare the expediting station with all necessary items, ensuring it is fully set for service on time.
• Uphold an authoritative yet approachable demeanor to effectively lead the pass.
• Monitor ticket times and order sequencing to optimize kitchen workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station, performing end-of-service breakdown and correct storage of products.
• Cultivate a collaborative work environment, offering support during peak periods.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Expeditor in a high-volume fine dining setting is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage complex service dynamics.
• A keen eye for detail with multitasking capabilities in a high-energy environment.
• Composure under pressure, with a commitment to maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and commitment to sanitation standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
