Summary of Position:

Delivery drivers are a customer-facing role, they are an integral part of helping a company achieve its sales goals. In addition to meeting sales goals, drivers must ensure compliance with the state's cannabis usage laws, such as the minimum age for customers and differences between medicinal and adult-use cannabis in regards of weights and amounts. All drivers are trained to have the ability to interpret customers' needs and wants and translate that into the best product for them. The ideal candidate is someone who has an outgoing personality, is professional and prioritizes customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Route and verify contents of assigned delivery orders prior to leaving the store
• Assist with order fulfillment for pick up and locker orders when needed
• Communicate with customers via phone and/or text about delivery status
• Delivering orders discreetly and professionally
• Answer incoming calls to the dispensary and assist guests accordingly.
• Cover salesfloor breaks, lunches during down time (Conduct sales instore)
• Verify and photograph patient documents as needed
• Correct cash handling
• Log miles and hours in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned by the Management

Job Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.

• Must be 25 years of age or over
• Must have a valid driver license and liability insurance
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Clean driving record
• Must live in Ventura County
• Experienced smart device user (cell phone and/or tablets required for delivery)
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and Google apps
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills (Cannabis POS experience preferred)
• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends. Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations and changes.
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training (Preferred)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Valid California Driver's License / Older than 25 - must
• Valid Car insurance and clean driving record -must
• Must be able to participate in CA DMV Pull system

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/walk intermittently for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop or lift and reach overhead multiple times per shift

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
