POSITION SUMMARY The Supervisor oversees the overall management of the day-to-day care of the youth, operation of the facility, supervision of the Direct Care Counselors, and assists with the household budget. The Supervisor fosters team-building and positive program development. The Supervisor IV position provides on-call coverage at all congregate care sites. SALARY$54,140 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS degree required. Experience in Wheeler’s congregate care programs can be substituted for education on a year for year basis when permitted by DCF. 2 years of progressively responsible related work experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Experience working with high need youth and their families of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds as well as exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Valid Drivers License is required.
