Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Install, terminate, and test fiber optic, coaxial, and copper cabling at commercial/industrial work sites
• Install, terminate, configure, and test various wireless networking sensor technologies (ie; door access, security systems, cameras, geo radar, water monitoring, etc)
• Work with customers to configure networking equipment
• Lift heavy equipment and supplies
• Perform aerial installations
• Identify the best route for cable installation
• Interact professionally and positively with customers
• Operate boom trucks/lifts; climb poles and towers as needed
• Operate a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year related experience; 3 years preferred
• History and a strong commitment to working safely with quality
• Mining experience is preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Comfortable in tight spaces, working at heights, and at industrial worksites
• Comfortable working in various environments, which may include seasonal temperatures and inclement weather
• Effective communication skills
• Able to work extended hours and overtime as needed
• Eagerness to learn new technologies
• A valid driver's license and ability to pass/maintain a license to operate vehicles above 10,000 lbs.
• Ability to earn and maintain MSHA 5000-23 certification (company-funded training)
• Ability to travel overnight as needed (estimated 5-25%)
