Duties & Responsibility: 

• Perform Service work on all Caterpillar Machines including Large Haul trucks and Large Hydraulic Shovels.
• Must be willing to work customized shifts, to include rotating between between day shift and Night shift. and four on four off shifts. 
• Must be willing to work overtime as work loads require. 
• Must Complete required paperwork on a daily basis

Required Qualifications: 

• Must have good safety record and willing to comply with Wheeler machinery Co. Customer and M.S.H.A requirements and policies.
• Journeyman technician classification 
• Hydraulic Mining shovel experience on Caterpillar and non Cat mining shovels
• Good working Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
• Competent knowledge of CAT ET, SIS WEB, VIMS and other Caterpillar troubleshooting tools.
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Must have good social skills for customer relations. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Field Service experience.
• C175-16 and 3500 Engine experience 
• Large Mining shovel experience 
• Large Caterpillar haul truck experience 
• Large Caterpillar Hydraulic shovel experience
