Two years of dental experience is preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Applicant must have an active radiology permit from the MS State Board of Dental Examiners. Applicant must be BLS certified. Our dental office desires a self-starter with a professional and positive attitude.

The responsibilities of our dental assistants include:

1) Create a pleasant and comforting environment for patients.

2) Maintain an organized procedure setup, work area, and dental clinic.

3) Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and disinfection of operatories.

4) Assist the dentist with a variety of dental procedures including surgery and endodontics.

5) Take radiographs of both adult and pediatric dentition.

6) Maintain necessary maintenance logs and input patient chart information.

7) Diligently work as a team by assisting fellow team members.
