The PositionResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a dispatcher, this position offers the opportunity for one-on-one training on our internal procedures, dispatching software, and daily tasks. If you are someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player, we want to hear from you! Some responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving calls from our customers including hospitals, nursing facilities, and individuals, and scheduling trips.
  • Routing trips and monitoring the trips statuses to ensure on time performance
  • Entering trip data into our dispatching software
  • Communicating with the drivers
  • Plan and schedule for the next day's transport
  • Monitor transport volumes including same day add ons and adjust resources accordingly
  • Run appropriate reports throughout the day and at the end of the day to check for issues and make necessary corrections.
  • Analyze schedules and historical trip data to ensure on time performance and efficient use of resources
Qualifications
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • Professional phone presence
  • Detail oriented, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, even in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Works well in high pressure situations
  • Ability to pass level II background check
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
