The Bilingual Elementary Director works in partnership with the Elementary Director in serving our English and Spanish speaking congregations as we Love God, Love One Another, Love our Neighbors, and Love the Nations. This role partners in leadership of our multi-ethnic ministry to kids in grades K-4. This includes partnering with parents in discipleship of their kids, elementary & family events throughout the year, summer outreach programs, and the direction and development of associated ministry partners.

Programming and Curriculum (40%)

Develop programming and implement curriculum for Sunday morning large group and small group. Responsible for creating and carrying out events and resources that promote the discipleship values and goals of the Kids Life Ministry. Support, involvement, and teaching in our midweek Kids Ministry programming. Translate materials from English to Spanish as needed.

Encourage, pray, and work alongside parents to participate in the discipleship of their child(ren). Creating opportunities for parents to dialogue about, teach, and reinforce Biblical truths at home. Creating avenues of communication that keep parents aware of what’s happening in the ministry, engaging with and being relationally available to parents.

Help develop and promote our Kids Ministry as a whole through active involvement in the Kids Ministry Team meetings, individual meetings with the Family Life Director, and cross-departmental initiatives.
