Whatcom County Administrative Services - Division of Finance is hiring a temporary extra help employee. This position works under close direction while performing a wide range of duties including:

• Entering data into the County financial system.
• Scan and enter dates into Laserfiche.
• Conduct physical asset inventories.
• Pick up surplus assets from various County locations.
• Work as part of the Finance team.

This position will be part time less than 69 hour per month.

Actual work hours can vary between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Supervisor: Senior Associate Manager - Finance

Requires high school diploma or GED.
Having a driving record abstract that meets County standards and possessing a valid driver's license at time of hire and throughout employment.
Proficient computer and office skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Be attentive to detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Consistent attendance.
Background check must meet County criteria for security sensitive positions.
