Summary

The Whatcom County Assessor's Office is seeking a temporary employee to assist with scanning department records and digitally archiving them via Adobe Acrobat. May also assist with filing and data entry or other routine office-related tasks as needed.
Length of Position: This position is anticipated to work full-time for approximately 3 months. Additional hours may be available to a maximum of 69 hours per month, dependent on department needs and candidate's availability.
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires a least one year of progressively responsible general office and clerical experience.
• Requires the ability to proficiently operate computers and imaging related equipment.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience performing data entry preferred.
• Background check must meet County criteria
