The Westwood Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Junior Custodian.

JOB DUTIES:

• Care of classrooms and corridors, dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, polishing and use of floor machines.
• Minor maintenance repairs within the building, occasional painting and other related work as needed to maintain the building. 
• Outdoor work includes weeding of garden areas, cutting of lawns and removal of snow from entrances and exits of buildings.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong communication skills and flexibility required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Pay subject to experience and governed by union contract.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching, as well as carrying and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to hear sounds clearly up to twenty feet.
• Travel among buildings may be required.
