Westwood Country Club is Hiring a Swim Fit Coach Near Austin, TX
DIVE COACH
We are seeking energetic and knowledgeable swim coaches to teach a great group of kids ranging in age from 4 – 17 years old, as well as working alongside a dedicated and fun team. Must be a good leader and enjoy working with younger kids!
Compensation: Starting at $21/hr based on experience
This is a Part- Time, Seasonal, non-exempt hourly position; hours will fluctuate based on scheduled events. Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. MUST be available to work ALL Dive Camps.
Dive Camp Dates:
- May 28th - 31st
- June 3rd - 6th
- June 17th - 20th
- August 12th - 15th
Position Summary:
Coaches and manages Westwood Country Club’s dive camp. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly position.
Essential Job Functions: *including but not limited to*
- Coaches the Club’s dive camp(s)
- Organizes all aspects of dive camps including, but not limited to, planning and coaching Dive Camp(s)
- Attends and participates in practice sessions, coach’s meetings and any other activities involving the planning of dive camp(s).
- Maintains all necessary records as determined by the Aquatics Director before camp begins.
- Helps with set up for camp along with clean-up and rearranging pool furniture/equipment after meet.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Aquatics Director
Education and/or Experience:
Current certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required. Current certification in Safety Training for Swim Coaches and/or Lifeguard Training required.

Physical Demands:
This position involves sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting at least 40 pounds. This job involves swimming and may involve lifesaving, which will require physical exertion.
