Role and Responsibilities

This is a One-day-a-week position working 4 hours every Thursday morning giving IT Support to the corporate office staff.

Basics computer assistants replace computer components set up printers, and copiers, and help request trouble tickets.

IT Support -The primary responsibility of this position is to provide IT support to Corporate office personnel This person reports to Technology Director.

Specific duties include:

• Troubleshoot and maintain desktop PCs, and provide technical support for users.

• Assist in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop PC's.

• Provide technical support for individual and group users.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

• Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

• The noise level in the work environment of the Seattle office is usually moderate.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Work experience in the IT field

• Pleasant and professional manner when dealing with WSI employees, and outside vendors.

• Prompt arrival and regular attendance.

• Possess the ability to read, write, and speak English

• Must have accurate record keeping and organizational skills.

• Must have a working knowledge of the current release(s) of the Windows Operating System.

• Must have a familiarity with installing applications in a Windows environment and the use of the current release(s) of Microsoft Office.

• Good problem solving skills and willing to follow set guidelines, rules and procedures.

• Understanding of current PC hardware configuration and installation is required.

• Basic knowledge of telephone standards preferred.

• Working knowledge of 10 Base-T Ethernet standard and networks a plus.
