Westtown Insurance Group is Hiring an Account Executive Near West Chester, PA

The Westtown Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships with commercial lines clients by handling insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism. The candidate will interact daily with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have Commercial insurance industry experience, strong attention to detail, and superior customer service skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • This is a hybrid role with future remote consideration. Applicants must be local to West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

Policy Servicing

  • Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of business.
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer’s concern; determining the cause of the issue, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the issue, expediting correction or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in agency management system.

Renewals

  • Provide existing clients with Insurance Coverage Review and reviews methods of handling risks. Identify and explain gaps in coverage.

Carrier Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Proficient in underwriting practices; able to manage underwriting relationships.

General

  • Collaborate with team members, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.
  • Participate in agency marketing activities, meet with carriers, attend CE sessions and other agency functions.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed such as answering phones and greeting visitors.

Requirements:

  • Valid Property & Casualty License.
  • Commercial Lines experience: demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned client and prospects.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus, people orientation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Display a positive, helpful attitude to help create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers.
  • Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset.
  • Have strong attention to detail, organization, multi- tasking, and follow up skills.
  • Have the ability and tact to handle difficult customer phone calls and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
  • Have technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems, EPIC preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
