Summary
The Cook under minimal supervision prepares food for various areas of the department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum: None
Preferred: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience
Minimum: 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment
Required Certifications/Licensure
ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food
Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District
