Weston is seeking a ProjectEngineertomanage and provide design services for engineering projects primarily being executed out of the West Chester, PA or Edison, NJ offices involving both clean construction and environmentalremediation.The projectengineeris responsible for building teams of internal technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work within scope, schedule, and budget, and maintaining safety, quality, and risk management processes.

Location:West Chester, PA. This is a hybrid position which blends in-office, on-site and work from home.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Professional Engineers (P.E.) license with active NCEES account with ability to gain additional state licenses through reciprocity or the ability to obtain license within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil,geotechnical, or environmental engineering.
• Minimum three (3) to five (5) yearsof experience in engineering.
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to convey technical presentations and participate in client meetings as a technical lead.
• Ability torecognize strengths in junior and senior staff torecruit, build, mentor, and foster a team as an emerging technical leader.
• US Citizen who is able and willing to obtain security clearance to perform work on DoD sites.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to take the technical lead in site civil designs and is familiar with stormwater management and the construction permitting process.
• Experience in creating specifications related to earthworks, site grading, erosion and sedimentation control, restoration, etc.
• Highly competent technical leadership resulting in successful project delivery.
• Engineering project management leading teams to meet scope, schedule,budget, quality, and safetyrequirements.
• Ability to identify scope variances to help client andinternal management and sales teams to identify and manage change.
• Able to complete requests for proposals, develop scopes of work (RFP), and obtain vendor quotes.
• Experience with field construction, shop drawing reviews, and submittals is a plus.
• Lead field teams to collect environment samples and provide engineering services during construction.
• Familiarity with geotechnical design of shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls and implementation of site geotechnical investigations is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Staff engagement through recruiting and mentorship to build and strengthen the team.
• Diligent and timely compliance with and implementation of company business practicesincluding adherence with the Engineering Design Quality Management Manual.
• Regular participation in local professional societies and associations for networking.
• Execution of all work professionally, safely, and ethically according to company values and client contracts.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and is able to travel.
• Willing to travel (~20% - 40% of the work year), and most travel is typically within the Philadelphia-metro area.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
