The Healthcare Center offers Respite Care, continuing Long-term Care, Memory Care, and Rehabilitation. Westmoreland has been a valuable part of the community for the past 40 years.
Shifts: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Days: Monday thru Friday
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Location: 5837 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville TN 37919
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a CNA Concierge at Westmoreland Health and Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for new admits. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Working the Floor: When not working with new admissions you will be expected to work the floor as a CNA with existing patients.
Meet and Greet:- Warmly welcome and assist all new admits upon arrival.
- Follow new admits for at least three days, completing progress notes and reports.
- Room Preparation:
- Ensure all rooms are prepared and ready for new admits.
- Assist with the completion of inventory sheets, weight measurements, and other necessary documentation for new admits.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and their families.
- Address concerns promptly and ensure a positive and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assistance with ADL Care:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) care for patients as needed.
- Escort new admissions to their rooms and provide support during the settling-in process.
- Meal Assistance:
- Assist patients with meals and ensure their dietary needs are met.
- Reporting:
- Regularly communicate with the Administrator to provide updates on patient progress and address any concerns.
- Complete assigned duties and responsibilities as directed by the Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required.
