Westminster Village West Lafayette Inc. is Hiring a CNA Class Near Lafayette, IN

CNA Student - Westminster Village

*Covid-19 vaccine is strongly encouraged, however not required*

Are you looking for a new rewarding career in the medical field? Westminster Village is offering CNA Classes, and we will pay you to take the class, $15 per hour! Once the class is over and you start working as a CNA you will earn $18 per hour! Last day to sign up for the class is May 10.

Class schedule:

May 28, 29, 30, 31, 8am-11am

June 3 & 4, 8am-11am

June 6 & 7, 8am-11am

June 8 & 9, 6:30am-2:30pm

June 12, 13, 14, 9am-1pm

June 15, 6:30am-2:30pm

June 17, 18, 20, 21, 9am-1pm

June 22 & 23, 6:30am-2:30pm

June 25, 8am-11am

June 26, 9am-1pm

June 27, 8am-12pm

**May only miss two (2) classes, unless pre-arranged

**All hours must be completed by 2pm on Jun 28, no exceptions.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for applying for the Westminster Village CNA Class:

Ability to learn state regulations and requirements needed to pass the state of Indiana's Certified Nursing Assistant examination.
Demonstrated skills and abilities in working with and understanding the needs of residents.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, staff members, volunteers, and outside agencies.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to handle confidential information with professional discretion in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
Desire to work with geriatric population.
Willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
