MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*High school graduate or equivalent
*Advanced computer skills
*Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
*Expertise in organizational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
*Ability to successfully manage and coordinate a number of projects and tasks
*Skills in effective oral and written communication
*Must pass various pre-employment background screenings
*Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
*Bilingual desired.
*Must be able to follow directions and work without close supervision
*Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies and building and department procedures.
*Experience working with diverse cultures, backgrounds abilities desirable

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Treats the staff, students, and general public with dignity and respect
*Ensures confidentiality in a professional manner
*Responsible for the students' safety in the school environment
*Responsible for all equipment and keys used during the workday
*Responsible for all assigned tasks and maintaining an organized workstation
*Follows organized techniques to ensure acceptable standards
*Demonstrates mature and professional conduct at all times
*Collaborates and communicates with parents, students, and faculty.
*Supports and assists teacher in preparation for classroom activities.
*Supports teacher in the delivery of the instructional program.
*Participates in opportunities to develop knowledge and skills that support assignments.
*Maintains all necessary documents within areas of responsibility.
*Works with small groups of students throughout the day focusing on literacy skills.
*Performs all other duties as assigned.
