Regional Administrator for Westminster-Canterbury at Home
The Regional Administrator for Westminster-Canterbury at Home (WCAH) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of home health, home care, and hospice programs at WCAH and Lake Prince at Home. This role involves planning, organizing, and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of high-quality care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance and Governance: Ensure organizational compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Maintain appropriate licenses, certifications, and accreditation. Implement governing body directives and develop service policies to achieve desired outcomes. Provide regular reports to the governing body and collect relevant data.
2. Financial Management: Collaborate with the President and Every Age leadership to develop and manage operational budgets within established fiscal parameters. Monitor business operations for financial stability, accurate billing, and efficient cash collection.
3. Staff Management: Recruit, employ, and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Evaluate services and personnel using measurable outcomes and objectives. Provide staff development, orientation, in-service education, and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing and supervision during all operating hours.
4. Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement: Direct and monitor organizational quality assessment and performance improvement activities. Derive actionable objectives from evaluations and drive progress toward operational and strategic goals. Promote excellent patient and family satisfaction. Facilitate conflict and complaint management/resolution. Lead the Professional Advisory Committee for home health.
5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Promote and lead the interdisciplinary aspect of hospice care. Direct staff in performing their duties, including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation, and service provision. Foster collaboration with agencies and vendors for effective management of services. Monitor service utilization to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
6. Communication and Liaison: Establish and maintain effective communication channels, including the integration of relevant technology. Keep staff informed of changes affecting them. Liaise with the governing body, staff, and professional advisory groups regarding organizational, community, and industry trends. Ensure accurate public information materials and activities.
