Qualified Driver

If so, this is a great career opportunity for you! Our company is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Van/Bus Driver to join our Transportation team on a part time basis.
In this career, you transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and safe manner. You need strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and must possess a valid Virginia driver's license. In addition to driving skills and experience, you also need strong communication and customer service skills. Interacting with passengers is a major part of our service, and you must represent our brand in a friendly and helpful manner. Experience working with nursing homes or special needs education programs is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
Transporting residents to designated locations (doctor appointments, airports, outings) within the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
Assisting our residents on and off the vehicle with medical equipment (quad-cane, wheelchairs, etc).
Ensuring vehicle(s) are clean and in to running condition at all times. Reports any needed repairs to supervisor.
Obeying traffic laws while demonstrating a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Provide a driving record with no moving violations within the past three (3) years.
Work comfortably with residents who are elderly, ill and/or disabled.
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED),
At least seven (7) years driving experience
Have a valid Virginia driver's license. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
