MANAGER IN TRAINING

Gain experience in leadership by working in a Guest Relations role.

Job Duties :

• Prepare daily arrival packets for guests.
• Greet guests upon lobby entry. Check guests in / out and provide property-specific and local information.
• Process and post cash and credit transactions.
• Assist in answering all incoming phone calls and assisting guests as needed.
• Resolve guest issues in a professional, expeditious manner.
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance on guest requests.
• Complete daily checklist and run daily reports as required.
• Maintain lobby and work area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Be receptive to assisting in housekeeping / maintenance to be able to understand / assist in those roles as needed.
• Work with leadership to understand budgeting, managing, owner-COA responsibilities, reservation process, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills :

• Strong communication skill, both oral and written
• Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
• High School Diploma required
• Associate / Bachelor Degree, preferred
• Motivational and enthusiastic personality

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand or sit during entire shift
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
