Job Description

Duties include providing field training, working one on one with team members to ensure knowledge of job duties and increase production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Meeting the new hire class during classroom training.
    • Touring the new OPCs and Greeters, identifying each marketing location.
    • Facilitating practice opportunities for the new hires
    • Facilitating Group discussion and answering any questions
    • Meet with team member for discussion, role playing, and shadowing
    • Assign observation activities and process
    • Review and explain schedule individually with each team members
    • In addition, the Field Training Manager will actively take responsibility for continued training and retraining existing team members
    • Provide all on location training for new and existing team members.
    • Actively recruit and conduct on the spot interviews when possible for excellent candidates.
    • The Field Training Manager is responsible to complete OPC/Greeter Reports for all observations, focused on the new hires, but also for any other observations. These reports are to be kept in a file and submitted electronically to the Director of Marketing.
    • The Field Training Manager is responsible to run all the stats for each new hire (up to 30 days) each week and bring them to the Marketing Senior Manager for their location so that the OPC/Greeter Reports and stats can be compared for performance management and training development purposes.
    • The Field Training Manager is to communicate any recommendations or concerns to the Senior Manager of the location the team member's work for and/or Director of Marketing, so that the management team can make any decisions regarding any employee.
    • Keep the teams motivated and productive
    • Express enthusiasm, energy, drive, job devotion, and personal ambition.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position works closely with Marketing Management team and provides supervisory assistance as needed, specifically in reference to training and development needs. The position does not include any direct reports.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one year professional business training experience.
College degree or some higher level education preferred.
Minimum of one year timeshare marketing experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Proven abilities to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to comprehend, interpret and communicate intelligently about marketing statistics, using SAMs marketing reports.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to creatively resolve challenging marketing issues within company standards and guidelines.
