As an Airboat Captain, you will:

• Responsible for crafting unforgettable memories for up to 18 passengers at a time.
• Safely operate and maneuver the airboat through waterways, swamps, marshes.
• Provide informative and entertaining commentary during airboat tours, sharing knowledge about the local ecosystem, wildlife, and natural features.
• Ensure the airboat is in good working condition and perform regular maintenance checks.
• Engage with passengers, answer questions, and create a memorable and educational experience for guests.

Requirements

• Must have a 25-ton Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
• Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must have a professional, fun personality that connects with guests while touring them around.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to operate company golf carts.
• Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
