Westfields Hospital is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Hospital Near Richmond, WI

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Med/Surg department, in collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital. Duties include:

  • Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation.
  • Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age-appropriate needs.
  • Evaluates the patient's condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.

Work Schedule:

  • 0.6 FTE/24 hrs weekly. Evening/night shifts with every 4th weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, preferably high obs, progressive care, or ICU experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required.
  • BLS Certification required and ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in EPIC computer system
