The Relief Operator is responsible for learning all operator’s functionswithin the sawmill to provide relief for breaks and vacations. Duties Include:

• Complete routine cleanup and inspections of equipment in the mill.

• Know the sizes of rough and finished lumber.

• Provide relief for breaks and vacations.

• Perform daily quality checks.

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsand utilizing safety equipment.

• Must be willing to learn various operator jobs within the mill.
