We are seeking a Substance Abuse Residential Specialist in Suffolk, VA

**Substance Abuse, Mental Health, or ID/DD experience is preferred for this position. **

Responsibilities and Duties for Case Manager:

• coordinate immediate and extended housing placements
• build and maintain relationships with community housing partners
• have strong organizational, communication and rapport-building skills
• ability to assist clients with financial education and planning, as well as working with their rep payee
• Manage consumer records according to all Licensure and Medicaid standards.

Qualifications and Skills for Case Manager:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-year minimum experience working in the behavioral healthcare field
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable DMV record at the time of employment and continuously thereafter
• CSAC
