Under the supervision of the Campus Community Safety Coordinator, performs a wide variety of college campus safety services using a community-oriented campus safety model to prevent violence and theft, provide access to college facilities, and respond to incidents affecting campus safety and security.
May serve as field training officer to mentor student safety officers and provide training on building-level patrol procedures.
Will engage in enforcing the rules and regulations governing students, faculty, and staff with superior customer service and ethical integrity.
Work is generally performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Duties may require short travel from site to site : exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather; work irregular hours.
The Full-Time Campus Community Safety Officer position is a non-sworn position and is not authorized to carry a firearm or make arrests.
Shifts will include overnights, weekends, and holidays.
This position will primarily work overnight shifts.

Regular attendance is required.
2. Complete all required College training and be responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This full-time position is 40 hours / week and eligible for benefits.
