Performs a variety of routine and complex laboratory procedures under supervision using standard and specialized techniques, instrumentation and equipment on a wide variety of biological specimens to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Exercises professional judgment in order to recognize, prioritize, and facilitate varying test requests and workload in an efficient manner. Assumes responsibility and accountability for accuracy of procedures performed.

Education and TrainingMust meet one of the below:
•Bachelor’s degree in related field with MLS/MT certification OR
•Bachelor’s degree in related field with MLT certification and 5 years’ experience. Must be MLS registry eligible and acquire MLS within 1 year. OR
•Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with 5 years’ experience and AMT certification.Shift will include:

• 7a-3:30p
• Every 4th Weekend
• Rotating Holidays
