Substitute Health Center Nurse

REPORTS TO:
Nursing Supervisor

JOB
DESCRIPTION:

This position is on as needed substitute basis. Responsibilities include performing hearing, vision and other health
screenings, administer medications per doctor’s orders, consult with teachers, school administrators and other school
staff regarding student care, monitor student immunization records as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) considered. Knowledge of many areas of health
including mental health, knowledge of school laws and policies and state health regulations.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
FBI Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
